Here's everything the app can do and how each feature works.
9 October 2026
Rockefeller Hall is a normal update. Install it from the App Store or Google Play like any other app; you do not need to uninstall anything or sign in again.
14 September 2026
MAXine is now Liara. It is the same app, from the same team, with all your information exactly where you left it — your medicines, your symptom notes and your messages are all still there. Because Liara is a new listing in both app stores, you do need to install it yourself this time, and you will be asked to sign in once with your usual email address and password. Keble also puts you in charge of which reminders you get, and shows you where our information comes from.
Releases before 0.9.7 shipped under the app's previous name, MAXine.
19 August 2026
Bailey Hall is about your data and your choices. You can now download everything Liara holds about you, and you can ask for your account to be deleted — with time to change your mind. Alongside that, medication reminders and your notification list have had a careful tidy-up.
25 July 2026
Until now, Liara waited for you to ask. The Magdalen release lets Liara come to you. A new Messages from Liara feed collects short, helpful messages based on what you have been tracking, and a daytime notification lets you know when there is something new. Care partners can receive their own messages about how to support you — but only when you choose to share.
24 June 2026
Baker Lab builds on Kellogg's Symptom Insight Cards by connecting them to optional health data from your phone. With your permission, Liara reads sleep, activity, and heart rate from Apple Health or Health Connect, spots when your recent readings look different from your usual pattern, and surfaces plain-language Insight Cards on the Symptoms tab.
16 June 2026
Kellogg completes the Symptom Insight Cards rollout that began in Stimson Hall. You now see a personalised carousel on the Symptoms tab, can open each card for the full clinical explanation, and jump straight to logging, the Symptom Guide, or Ask Liara. Cards also refresh based on what you have logged recently, not only what you chose during onboarding.
8 June 2026
Stimson Hall simplifies medication management, improves reminders and sign-in reliability, upgrades how Liara connects to our services in production, and begins the staged rollout of Symptom Insight Cards.
12 May 2026
The big features previewed in Lincoln Hall are now fully live: describe your symptoms in your own words, and export a clinician-ready PDF. This release also rebuilds medication reminders to be more reliable, redesigns the longest questionnaire (CSRI), and ships a critical reminder-timing fix you may already have received as a hotfix in April.
7 April 2026
This release introduces Symptom Trends and Reports, a new "Have Your Say" feature voting screen, and improvements across symptom tracking, notifications, and app reliability.
16 March 2026
This release introduces symptom logging, care partner questionnaires, and several improvements to reliability and security.
Keep a daily record of how you're feeling. The app covers 11 areas of health that can be affected by Parkinson's, including movement, sleep, mood, pain, digestion, and more.
Short, personalised tips on the Symptoms tab based on what you track.
Optionally share readings from your phone's health app so Liara can spot patterns and show them as Insight Cards.
Keep track of all your medicines in one place and never miss a dose.
Chat with Liara, a friendly AI assistant that can answer questions about Parkinson's and help you learn more about your condition.
If typing is tricky, you can talk instead. Tap the microphone button in the chat and speak your question. The app will turn your words into text and send it to Liara for you.
The app connects to your device's health data to show your daily activity and wellness information in one place.
As part of the study, you'll be asked to fill in short questionnaires inside the app.
Browse a library of videos and articles about living with Parkinson's.
If you have a carer or family member who helps look after you, you can invite them to use the app alongside you.
The app sends you reminders so you don't forget important things.
If something goes wrong — whether it's a health concern or a problem with the app — you can report it straight away.
When you first open the app, you'll set up your profile step by step. You can change any of this later.
In Settings you can also restart the app tour, read the latest release notes, and view the privacy policy and terms of use.
